Bisma Asif was elected to the Queensland Parliament in October 2024 and is the Assistant Shadow Minister for Multiculturalism and Citizenship and Assistant Shadow Minister for the Environment.  

Bisma is the 99th Woman to be elected to the Queensland Parliament, she is also the first Muslim and Punjabi elected. 

She believes in building a fairer future where everyone has the chance to work hard and get ahead. She understands the need for strong governance, to create the conditions for individuals and businesses to thrive.
