Thank you to our local community for sticking together and helping those impacted by the recent weather events.
I would like to give a special thanks to SANDBAG, Sandgate Uniting Church, Fitzgibbon Community Centre who assisted vulnerable community members in need of support.
Thank you also to all the volunteers who spent hours fillings sandbags with me at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Boondall.
Parliamentary Sitting Week Wrap Up Volume 4
Before I wrap up the last parliamentary sitting week, I would like to congratulate Anika Wells for her re-election as the Federal Member for Lilley and congratulate Emma Comer for being elected to be the new Federal Member for Petrie.
I am excited to work with them both to get positive outcomes for our local community.
